Finally finished. Large canvas acrylics. No real title as yet.

Really enjoyed this as i had no idea what was going to be in it as i painted. Although that made it harder, it was a journey of discovery of my mind. I have no idea what is beyond the curve in the steps, except i know it's a land of peace and solitude, animals snuffling in the undergrowth, and the rustle of leaves in gentle breezes. Perhaps a home is through there. Maybe the kettle is steaming, or fresh lemonade, jug covered, on an old kitchen table... Fresh pie cooling on a windowsill. Freshly picked flowers in my hand waiting to be perked up again in clear spring water in my grandmother's vase.

So many dreams and longings went into this work.
